Make sure you always have your insulin on you when you are traveling. Never check your insulin in with your luggage because you could end up losing it or expose it to dangerous temperatures. When traveling, you can carry your insulin in a carry-on bag. If insulin is kept at regulated temperatures, it can last up to a month, even if unrefrigerated.
