Take your steps individually — step by step still gets you there.. When depressed, it can be difficult to think about doing everything in just one day. By focusing on making gradual small changes, you won’t be quite so overwhelmed, and it will be much easier to accomplish your goals.

Keep up with your usual social activities. Whenever you feel depressed, you may not want to do things that you normally enjoy. However, it is very important to surround yourself with people you care about. Try to go about your everyday activities normally. If you don’t do what you normally would, you will just exacerbate your condition.
